Privacy Policy · Terms of Use · Community Posting Rules
Effective October 24, 2026 · Electrolips LLC · Berkeley, California, USA

Part I — Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

This policy applies to electrolips.online, its public and private posting boards, news-wire pages, archives, comment or submission forms, and associated website functions operated by Electrolips LLC (“Electrolips,” “we,” “our”). Separate Electrolips products, including Beeps services, may have their own policies.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you use the site, information may include: posts, comments, titles, aliases, voluntarily supplied contact details, support messages, access credentials or post-lock tokens, board identifiers, timestamps, IP addresses, browser/device details, server access and security logs, and payment confirmation or entitlement records where paid access is offered. Public boards may not require accounts. We do not claim that public posts are anonymous.

3. Why we use information

We use information to publish and display user submissions; administer boards and permissions; protect posts from unauthorized edits; respond to inquiries; investigate abuse; maintain security and availability; manage paid access where applicable; preserve necessary business records; and comply with lawful obligations.

4. Public posting and visibility

Content submitted to public boards is intentionally public. Other visitors, search engines, archiving services, and screenshot tools may copy or retain it. Deletion from our site cannot guarantee removal of copies elsewhere. Password-protected boards restrict access but are not guaranteed confidential or immune from unauthorized disclosure.

5. Cookies, sessions, and local storage

The site may use essential session cookies, security tokens, or browser storage for administration, post locks, authentication, and board functionality. Additional analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, if introduced, will require an updated disclosure and any legally required consent mechanism. Browser settings may permit blocking or deleting some stored data, but this can impair functions.

6. Hosting, processors, and sharing

Website data may be handled by hosting, database, infrastructure, communications, and payment providers as needed to operate the service. The site currently uses IONOS hosting and MariaDB for website functions. If Stripe or PayPal payment options are enabled, those providers process payment information under their own policies. We do not sell personal information for third-party marketing as a matter of stated policy. We may disclose information to service providers, in connection with lawful requests, to protect rights or safety, or in a lawful business transition.

7. Retention

Posts may remain available until removed by an authorized administrator, the submitting user where supported, or as otherwise required by law. Server logs, abuse reports, payment records, and security records may be retained for different periods based on operational need and legal requirements. No fixed universal deletion period is promised.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls where implemented. No website, database, or transmission method is perfectly secure. Users should not submit passwords, identity documents, financial account numbers, medical records, or other sensitive personal information in public posts.

9. Access, correction, deletion, and privacy rights

You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification, technical feasibility, applicable exceptions, and legal requirements. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, or limit certain uses of personal information. We will evaluate requests under applicable law. To identify a post, provide its page URL, approximate date, and identifying text; do not send passwords.

10. International visitors

Information may be processed in the United States or wherever service providers operate. Visitors outside the United States may have rights under local privacy laws. Where applicable, Electrolips will address international transfer and privacy obligations required by law.

11. Children’s privacy

The posting boards are not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit their personal information. If we learn that a child under 13 submitted personal information, we will review and delete it as required by applicable law. Parents or guardians can contact us about a child’s submission.

12. External websites

Links to other sites, payment services, documents, or embedded applications are governed by their operators’ policies. We are not responsible for those third-party practices.

13. Policy changes

We may revise this policy to reflect operational or legal changes. Material changes will be identified by an updated effective date and any further notice required by law.

Part II — Terms of Use

14. Acceptance and permitted use

By accessing or using electrolips.online, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use interactive features. The website provides editorial, archival, discussion, and informational materials, not legal, medical, financial, emergency, or other professional services.

15. Independent editorial and archival content

Articles, investigative leads, commentary, correspondence, historic materials, and user posts may include opinions, allegations, quotations, and unverified claims. Publication is not a finding of fact, endorsement, legal judgment, or certification of accuracy. Readers should consult primary records and independently verify claims.

16. User responsibility

Each contributor is responsible for the legality, accuracy, and consequences of their submissions. Users must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content and must comply with applicable laws, court orders, and third-party rights. Do not assume that a post will remain confidential.

17. Posting license and ownership

Contributors retain ownership of their original content. By posting, they grant Electrolips a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and preserve that content for operation, moderation, and archiving of the website. This license continues for copies reasonably required for legal compliance, backups, or legitimate archival records, subject to applicable law. You represent that you have authority to grant this license.

18. No editorial endorsement

Electrolips does not necessarily review every post before publication and does not endorse user statements, advertisements, listings, claims, or external links. Boards may be unmonitored or intermittently moderated. Reports of unlawful content may be sent to the contact address below.

19. Moderation and enforcement

We reserve the right, but do not promise, to edit, hide, reject, preserve, restrict, or remove content, disable access, and suspend posting privileges for legal, security, editorial, or operational reasons. We may cooperate with lawful legal process. Moderation decisions do not create a duty to monitor all content.

20. Access credentials and post locks

Users are responsible for protecting any post-edit codes, passwords, tokens, and private-board access credentials. Do not share them publicly. Loss of a code may prevent self-service editing; administrative recovery is not guaranteed.

21. Paid and restricted sections

Some content may require payment or authorization. Prices, access duration, refund conditions, and renewal terms must be disclosed at checkout before purchase. Payments, if enabled, may be processed by third parties. Purchasing access does not confer ownership of website content or permission to redistribute it.

22. Availability and changes

Services may be changed, interrupted, or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or business reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent preservation of posts, or that the site will be error-free.

23. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. Nothing here excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be waived.

24. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Electrolips LLC and its personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the site, user interactions, lost content, interruptions, or third-party actions. This provision does not limit liability where doing so is prohibited by law.

25. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, users agree to defend and indemnify Electrolips LLC against third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from their unlawful content, infringement, misuse of the service, or material breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by Electrolips’s own unlawful conduct.

26. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are generally governed by California law, without displacing mandatory consumer protections or other laws that apply to a visitor. Courts with lawful jurisdiction will resolve disputes; this provision does not create jurisdiction where none exists.

27. Severability and changes

If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. We may update these Terms prospectively, with notice where required.

Part III — Community & Posting Rules

28. Prohibited submissions and conduct

29. Evidence, allegations, and corrections

When discussing disputed events, distinguish firsthand observations, allegations, opinions, and independently documented facts. Where possible, identify dates and reliable sources. Avoid posting unnecessary personal data about witnesses or third parties. A request for correction or removal may be sent to the legal contact below, including the relevant page address and a concise explanation.

30. Public versus private boards

Public boards are visible without authentication. Private boards may be restricted by password or permission but should not be used for highly confidential information unless separate security assurances are provided. Do not attempt to access restricted sections without authorization.

31. Reporting concerns

Report suspected unlawful material, copyright infringement, impersonation, privacy violations, or threats using the contact details below. Include a direct link, date, and description. For imminent danger, contact local emergency services rather than relying on the website.

Part IV — Minors and Adult Supervision

32. Under 13: no posting

Children under 13 are not permitted to submit posts, comments, registrations, or personal information on the Electrolips posting boards. A parent or guardian may contact Electrolips directly about age-appropriate requests.

33. Ages 13–17: supervised posting only

Users aged 13 through 17 may not post without the express permission and direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian must review and approve each submission and supervise use of the posting features. This is a platform rule; it does not replace applicable child privacy, consent, or consumer protection laws.

34. Adult-only sections

Any area expressly labeled 18+ is restricted to adults aged 18 or older. Parental permission or supervision does not allow minors into an adult-only area. Age confirmation mechanisms, where implemented, are not a guarantee that every visitor is an adult.

35. Parent or guardian requests

Parents and legal guardians may request review or removal of material posted by a minor by contacting Electrolips. We may request proportionate information to verify authority before acting.
